Review: Elucent Whitening Range

Elucent Whitening Range

Elucent Whitening Range

About a month ago, I was given the opportunity to trial the Elucent Whitening Range. Upon first seeing the name of the range, I thought .. hmm .. don’t need any whitening products! However, upon further examination, it’s more of a brightening skincare range aimed at providing a brighter, more even complexion.

Elucent Whitening Range

Elucent Whitening Range

Whitening Exfoliating Cleanser ($29.99) – this contains small exfoliating beads which are very gentle on the skin making it perfect for everyday use. I’ve been using this alongside the Philips VisaPure Facial Cleansing Brush and my skin is left feeling really refreshed.

Spot Corrector ($49.99) – Apply this on any areas prone to dark spots and/or discolouration. I’ve been applying this on my cheeks and around my nose prior to applying the moisturiser.

Day Moisturiser ($49.99) – Containing SPF30, this has a thick consistency, almost like sunscreen and not a facial moisturiser. My skin struggled with the heavy consistency and broke out a little. This was probably my least favourite product in the whole range as I found, for my skin, it was a bit too thick and heavy for a day face cream.

Night Moisturiser ($49.99) – A fantastic hydrating night cream which is much lighter than its day counterpart.

Eye Cream ($49.99) – I found that this did help to minimise the appearance of fine lines and dark circles. It was easy to apply as well with a very viscous consistency so it was easy to apply this around the eye area and be gentle.

Hand Cream ($24.99) – I love that they included this as part of the skincare range. Hands feel soft and instantly smooth and hopefully with continued use, no spots!?

Overall, bar the day moisturiser, I enjoyed using all the products in Elucent’s Whitening Range. As a result of a month use, my skin now appears to be much more brighter skintone, with minimal spots.

Along with the Whitening Range, Elucent also has an Anti-Aging Range, which judging from reviews, also works really well! For more information on either range, check it out here. You can purchase any of these products exclusively from Chemist Warehouse and My Chemist.
