Review: Essenzza Fuss Free Facials Natural Japanese Silk Treatment Masks

I am a face mask addict. I love all face masks – clay masks, sheet masks – you name it, I love it!

I was offered the chance to trial these new Essenzza Fuss Free Facials Natural Japanese Silk Treatment Masks (what a mouthful .. will be referring to them as Essenzza face masks in this review) and without even really digesting the press release, I said yes because the pop art packaging caught my eye first haha

Essenzza face masks contain natural active ingredients such as oat seed extract and hyaluronic acid. They’re made from high quality Japanese silk masks, promising to cover and cling onto every inch of your skin.

My favourite thing about sheet masks is that they are so easy to use – just remove the mask from the satchet and apply to your face.

In terms of application and ease of use, I have to say it was a bit tricky the first time! This is because there are actually 3 layers to the mask to help protect the delicate sheet mask. Despite reading the instructions on the back of the box, I still got it wrong the first time!

Peel away outer protective white shiny layer and discard

Apply remaining two layers to face – white silk layer to face, blue layer away from face

Separate and gently peel blue layer away from silk layer

Time to relax – leave mask on for at least 20 minutes

Remove silk mask and discard. Allow formulation to dry for silk, smooth skin

I found the fit was really good for my mouth and eyes. I was able to apply the mask and because the mask is sticky, I could walk around the house without having to worry about the mask falling off.

The Essenzza face masks come in 3 varieties – Anti-ageing and antioxidant, moisturise and smooth, and cleanse and exfoliate. Each variety contains different main ingredients to target various areas of skin concerns.

I found that the masks all performed similarly – they all left my skin feeling moisturised, nourished and plump.

Each mask also left behind a layer of moisture which took a while to dry before I could apply my face creams. There was also a substantial amount of serum left behind in the satchet so I ended up using it to moisturise my neck and arms.

You can pick these up for $14.95AUD/3pack from leading pharmacies (I’ve seen them at my local Priceline..) and online at EssenzzaHealth
