Review: b.liv by Cellnique skincare products {& giveaway}

A couple of months ago, I was contacted by the PR of Cellnique to see if I would like to review some of their skin care products. After perusing their website I agreed and after a quick web consultation about my skincare concerns, they promptly sent me the following products.

Read on and see whether I liked them or not…

b.liv by Cellnique skincare range

b.liv by Cellnique skincare range

Submerge Me RRP$49.00USD/45ml

This is what I would use as an everyday moisturiser. The scent is very refreshing and aquatic-like. It is a very light facial moisturiser that is absorbed very quickly. Despite it’s light texture, it’s very heavy duty, in my opinion, which I love.

Prior to using this moisturiser, I always thought my skin was more oily than dry. However, it seemed that every second day (ie the days I was not exfoliating), my skin was flaking – a lot! However, when I started using this moisturiser, there was no flaking at all!

I love this moisturiser. It works well with my skin, has a refreshing scent and absorbed quickly so my face isn’t left looking greasy like most ‘heavy’ moisturisers. I only need to use one pump for my whole face as well which goes to show that a little goes a long way with this.

Dump Off Drawn RRP$49.00USD/25ml

I used this serum at night in place of Submerge Me. It comes in a cute little bottle and I only needed about 2-3 drops of it for my whole face. It’s a clear serum so it was ok for me to apply before bed as it wouldn’t have been rubbing off onto my pillows or bedsheets.

It’s purpose is to target problems like uneven skin tone, large pores and fine lines (amongst many others). What I noticed after using this was I woke up with smooth, plump and glowing skin! I was looking more refreshed and it may have been a combination of the reduction and minimisation of the appearance of uneven skin, fine lines and pores.

Off With Those Heads RRP$39.00USD/15ml

One of my biggest skincare concerns, like anyone, are my blackheads! I remember my sister saying to me (before I started using these products), “You should do something about your blackheads…”

When first applied, I felt a cooling sensation. It quickly went away and I just continued to apply it to my problem areas – being my nose, chin and forehead. After continued use of nearly 2 months, I think the before and after shots speak for themselves. The biggest improvements were on my nose. There is a huge reduction of blackheads, in my eyes. I will continue to use this as it has given me the results I have been looking for!

Before/After {use of Off With Those Heads! for 2 months}

To cover the areas of my nose, chin and forehead, I only needed to use half a pump to one full pump. It is a clear gel-like substance that is easily spread with no apparent scent.

Immerse Me RRP$25.00USD/10 pc

I look to face masks when I need an extra dose of moisture in my skin. As long as a face mask does not break me out and gives me skin a much needed moisturising drink then I am not too fussed. The Immerse Me face mask did exactly that and I had lots of the face mask serum left over to gently massage into my face and neck. Heck, even my arms! My only gripe is that it does not fit my face very well. I found that it was a bit too big for my face. However the results were pretty awesome. My skin was very well moisturised. Felt so smooth and just very … plump (for lack of a better word!). I didn’t need to apply any additional moisturiser at all for about two days!

Overall, I am surprised by the results and I am so grateful to have been able to try this brand. Normally, I wouldn’t have even thought about trying b.liv by Cellnique but I am glad I did. I like that the packaging is hygenic with the pump and all. Plus, with the pumps, you are able to easily gauge how much product you need for each use without having to waste any product. This brand has replaced my usual skincare routine and I look forward to trying more products.

Purchase – You can purchase the above products plus more on the the b.liv by Cellnique website – here – which also offers free worldwide shipping.
