Review: Prestige Skin Nude Foundation

Prestige Skin Nude foundation

A new foundation offering from Prestige, Skin Nude Foundation claims to be

…natural looking medium coverage foundation…evens out complexion in an almost imperceptible way. The light texture creates a “NUDE” effect for a fresh look and “HEALTHY” luminous glow with plenty of comfort.

I’ve never really been a fan of foundation. For ‘special occasions’ I wear tinted moisturiser but most days, in terms of base, I don’t apply anything apart from my facial moisturiser.

When this arrived on my doorstep, I was tempted to hand it over to my sister as she wears foundation almost daily. However, after reading the accompanying press release, I decided to give it a go.

Skin Nude Foundation comes packaged in a squeeze tube which I like. You get 25ml of product in the tube.

I like squeeze tubes when it comes to liquid products as it allows you to really control the dispensed amount. Or ones with pumps.  I like those. I hate ones like the Estee Lauder Double Wear (my mum wears this) where it’s just this huge opening and you have to kinda gauge and pour it out. NO thank you.

There are five shades available – Nude Sand, Nude Natural, Nude Desert, Nude Amber and Nude Sunny.

I was sent Nude Natural for review purposes and it was just a touch too pink (as you will see).

I love the coverage and feel of Skin Nude. It’s light but gives me the perfect coverage. It evens out any uneven skin tone, covers the redness on my cheecks and doesn’t flake. It seriously does feel like a second skin to me.

The finish starts off as dewy but then it blends right into my skin. I set it with some powder and we’re good to go.
